Sir I have submitted my adhaar number,in the bank when I opened the account of atal pension yojna,when saw online of my details,my adhaar is showing null,what can I do, and also changed of my date of birth,what can i do sir please help me.
We are having joint saving account in SBI, but we can’t use this account to open APY for both; is this right. Software not consider details for 2nd name account holder.

You are right. For Atal Pension Yojana scheme you need to have an individual account. It is not permissible, to apply for apy through joint bank account.

I have a similar problem. The DOB was wrongly feeded by HDFC Bank. I got the DOB rectified in my HDBF bank but the APY account still considers my old/incorrect DOB. The staff at the bank are unaware how to modify the DOB. Your response on how to resolve this will help a lot of people like me. Thanks!
this issue can be rectified only through bank or you can call on the customer care number of atal pension yojana 1800-180-111 / 1800-110-001 to get more clarity.
In APY Scheme, DOB was wrongly feeded by sbi.But i have correct it in mother branch.still the wrong DOB is in APY Scheme.contribution wrongly recovering.The bank told me that they don’t know how to modify it after the PRAN number genarated ….Pls help me how to rectify it….

Intimate your bank at the earliest. Visit your bank branch and get ask them to rectify the apy form you submitted.

The national toll free number (1800-180-1111) worked fine, but the gentleman who attended my call, could not help in this regard.
Try again to call at 1800-180-111 / 1800-110-001. If the person is not able to help then try asking him to connect with his senior. you can also call at United Bank of India toll free: 1800 – 345 – 0345 to know more.

Yes you can avail this but if you are getting PF then you will not get any contribution from government’s side.
