One crore in state join PM’s social security schemes.
Chief Secretary Antony De Sa, presiding over a State-level Bankers Committee meeting here on Wednesday, exhorted the bankers and state government officials to make greater efforts for better results in employment schemes. He said 97-99 per cent disbursement of loans under Mukhyamantri Yuva Udhyami Yojana, Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojana and Mukhyamantri Arthik Kalyan Yojana, was a testimony to the successful implementation of these schemes. Chief Secretary said a special meeting of Bankers Committee would be organised next month to review employment schemes.
Central Bank of India Chairman RC Lodha was also present. Chief Secretary also sought information about disbursement of loans to beneficiaries under various schemes. Information about targets set and achieved under new insurance schemes and Atal Pension Yojana was also given. Chief Secretary said around one crore citizens have been linked with Pradhanmantri Bima Suraksha Yojana and Pradhanmantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and the state is ahead of other states as far as meeting of target of linking 3 crore citizens is concerned.
