Dear Sir,
I have opened Atal Pension Yojana account on 31st March 2016 at State Bank of India, HAL, Bangalore Branch.
with Monthly Contribution of 990/- and Guaranteed pension of 5000/-.
I have been given a plain acknowledgement receipt by SBI Bangalore in which a number 11800675118728762.
Bank had indicated that monthly contribution will be recovered on 1st of every month…however no contribution has been deducted till date. SBI HAL branch is pretty cold on APY…they say that we can not help and all investment at your own risk.
Could you pls. confirm Status of my account pls.

Sir,
My Son in-law. Srinivas Pavan Addanki and my daughter Smt. T.N.Bharathi have enrolled in APY on 6-7-2015 through SBI, Basavangudi Branch,Bangalore. They have been given only Acknowledgement-subscriber registration for APY on a plain paper without any bank letter head and told that A Debit Card, User ID and PIN number will be provided in due course so that we can verify our account details every month.Unfortunately nothing has been provided though 7 months have elapsed and I have written a letter to the concerned Bank manager in this regard and he has expressed his helplessness as the Banks have not been properly appraised of the APY Scheme and there is no dedicated staff to deal with APY.
However monthly instalment towards APY is being deducted from their SBI Account. In LIC if we opt for an insurance scheme, we will be provided with a Bond which guarantees claims. In APY scheme we have no proof other than acknowledgement on a piece of paper and where to claim the pension amount.(The APY scheme modalities at point No. 19 and 20 clearly says, 19.How will I know the status of my contribution? The status of contributions will be intimated to the registered mobile number of the subscriber by way of periodical SMS alerts. The Subscriber will also be receiving physical Statement of Account. 20.Will I get any statement of transactions? Yes. Periodic statement of APY account will be provided to the subscribers).Only SMS alerts being received. No statement has been received so far. Please enlighten with regard to Debit Card, User ID and PIN number and physical statement of accounts as has been told at the time of enrolment.
The PRAN No’s of My Son in-law. and daughter are 50018787360 and 50018787844 respectively

Hi I have opened my Atal Pension yojana scheme from SBI mumbai…. Bank says that this scheme is not linked to netbanking. Can you please advise, If I want to know my yearly statement how do I get it. cos Banker says that it will be updated in your Passbook. However, I believe there has to be seperate statement of how much I have contributed during the year. Please advise the process.
